A University of Georgia student from Gwinnett County was arrested in his dorm room last week and charged with nearly two dozen child pornography-related charges.

Sang Don Nam, 19, of Duluth was arrested Sept. 1, Athens-Clarke County police Sgt. Michael York told Channel 2 Action News. York said his department investigated after the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force alerted the GBI about Nam's alleged activities.

Few other details were available, but jail logs showed Nam was charged with 22 counts of "material minor sex." He was released on bond Sept. 2.
