An education professor from the University of Georgia won a $1.23 million federal grant to expand an early childhood teacher preparation program.  Cynthia Vail will use the award from the U.S. Department of Education to continue the Birth through Five program she developed to prepare teachers who work with infants, toddlers, young children and their families. The funding will last for five years to train 47 people.
