A professor from the University of Georgia's College of Pharmacy received a three-year award worth more than $570,600 to research issues related to breast cancer. Eileen Kennedy, assistant professor of pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences, studies a type of enzyme as it relates to cancer. The award is from the National Institutes of Health. Kennedy joined the pharmacy college in 2010.
