Fayette County’s Public Arts Committee has two volunteer positions open on its seven-member board.

The committee advises the Board of Commissioners regarding opportunities for cultural enrichment and county enhancement by promoting community arts projects by amateurs and professionals in a variety of settings. The open seats are for two-year terms that end in May 2021; meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday and third Monday of each month. Members may be reimbursed for expenses incurred as part of official duties, with county approval. Applicants must be Fayette residents and are appointed by the BOC.
