One of two men shot in southwest Atlanta Sunday night has died, authorties said.

The shooting occurred after an argument on Welch Street near Rockwell Street, police said.

One man was shot in the head and another in the hand, WSB-TV reported.

Curtis McBride Jr., 19, of Atlanta, died at Grady Memorial Hospital following the 7:30 p.m. shooting, according to Mark Gilbeau, an investigator with the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office.

The condition and identity of the second person shot have not been released.

No additional details were available. Atlanta Police did not return phone calls Sunday night.
