A Doraville groundskeeper is celebrating his half-million dollar Georgia Lottery win Tuesday. And a Marietta woman has won $400,000.

Kwot Omot Okello played the instant game Jumbo Jumbo Bucks and won $500,000.

“I’m happy,” he said. “I can’t believe it. Right now I can’t think.”

Okello, 42, is married with five sons. He plans to buy a home and a car. He also said he will save for his children’s education.

Okello purchased his ticket at Shell Food Mart on Winters Chapel Road in Doraville.

Meanwhile, Peggie Borum, 60, is having a celebration of her own after winning $400,000 playing the instant game 20X The Money. Borum claimed her top prize at Georgia Lottery headquarters Tuesday. She bought her lucky ticket at the Texaco Food Mart, 2651 Powder Springs Road S.W., in Marietta.
