Two Gwinnett County School buses were involved in an accident with a car earlier today.

Twelve students from Cooper Elementary School in Loganville sustained minor injuries. All were evaluated at the scene and released to school officials, said Gwinnett County Fire spokesman Tommy Rutledge.

An unidentified adult female in the passenger car was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville with a non-life threatening injury, Rutledge said.
