Two group homes approved in Cobb

The Cobb County Board of Commissioners approved two group homes 5-0 Tuesday.

A land use permit was granted to Garfield McCook for a group home for up to 10 residents at 4549 Stilesboro Road.

The other land use permit is for Open Arms Group Home, owned by James B. and Terri L. Barnes, for a group home for up to six residents at 4474 Lindsey Drive.
