The Fulton County Board of Health has opened a walk-up COVID-19 testing center in northeast Atlanta.

Residents can get tested for the coronavirus at the Center for Health and Rehabilitation located at 265 Boulevard. Testing is available Monday through Saturday, but residents must call the county’s COVID-19 hotline at 404-613-8150 to schedule an appointment.

The COVID-19 hotline hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A second testing center will open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Passion City Church located at 515 Garson Drive.

Residents interested in getting tested at Passion City Church should call 404-613-8150 to schedule a walk-up appointment. Neither a doctor’s referral nor insurance is required.

“Testing is critical to stopping the spread of the disease,” Fulton County Board of Health spokeswoman Sheena Haynes said in a news release. “The site was selected to enhance neighborhood access to testing, which is a critical strategy to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 among Fulton County residents.”

Residents can get tested whether they have COVID-19 symptoms or not.
