Clayton County Commission Chairman Jeff Turner has been named the 2015 Commissioner of the Year by the Georgia Minority Business Association. Turner received the award earlier this month at a reception and dinner hosted by the business group at the Georgia International Convention Center. The gala recognizes minority businesses and entrepreneurs around Georgia who have made an impact in their communities.

“I was humbled and honored to receive the award,” Turner said. “I share this honor with the citizens of Clayton County because without their support, none of the great things happening in our county would have been possible. I am truly blessed to be the chairman of Clayton County.”
