The Tucker-Northlake Community Improvement District will hold the second of three public meetings to gather input for a future area master plan 6 - 8 p.m. Feb. 26 at Rehoboth Baptist Church, 2997 Lawrenceville Highway.

Representatives of Atlanta-based Sizemore Group, which will conduct a market study and prepare the master plan, will review comments and suggestions collected through an online public survey (sites.google.com/site/tuckernorthlakecidstudy/) and from written feedback solicited during the first public meeting in January.

The study area encompasses approximately 2,600 acres and includes downtown Tucker, Northlake Mall, The LaVista Road/I-285 interchange, the Northlake Parkway/I-285 interchange, Northlake Tower Festival Shopping Center, Briarcliff Village Shopping Center and Emory Orthopedics and Spine Hospital.

The Sizemore Group’s work will build on the findings of previous Livable Centers Initiatives, and will include a market analysis, as well as recommendations for creating multi-modal transportation options, better access to businesses and more connectivity between neighborhoods and the commercial district.

A final public meeting will be held in March.
