Truck crashes into Marietta restaurant 1 week after opening
A Marietta restaurant got an unexpected visit Monday afternoon when a truck slammed into the newly opened establishment.
The pickup driver slammed into Pollo Tropical along Cobb Parkway, injuring two people, Marietta police said. They were treated at the scene.
Police said they are not sure what caused the pickup driver to slam into the restaurant. The driver is OK.
The restaurant opened a week ago and is closed for repair, the Channel 2 reported. It is not certain when they will reopen.
