Decatur residents can drop off live Christmas trees this week as part of the “Bring One for the Chipper” event.

Crews will use the recycled trees as mulch in city parks and other city property.

The recycling center is open until Jan. 2 at the Agnes Scott College parking lot between 184 and 206 S. Candler St.
