Cherokee County officials plan two open houses 6 to 8 p.m. March 24 at the Cherokee County Administration Building, 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton and March 26 at the Chambers at City Center, 8534 Main St., Woodstock as part of work to update the county’s Comprehensive Transportation Plan.

County officials said it’s part of an every-five-year look-see at resident, worker and visitor transportation needs. Such issues as population growth, employment, land use and development have been examined in a process that kicked off last summer. The public is now being asked to share its ideas on what changes should be made, leading to final adoption of an updated plan this summer.
