Traffic will soon shift over on the State Route 11/U.S. 129 widening project in Talmo, part of Jackson County.

Northbound traffic on S.R. 11/ U.S. 129 just departing Talmo will be shifted over toward the left. Crews will place temporary concrete barriers to move traffic to new asphalt in the former grass median.

This shift will remain in place for the next year while construction partners build a culvert structure underneath the lanes.

The project was awarded to Pittman Construction Co. in April of 2016 and represents a $44 million investment in infrastructure improvements in Hall and Jackson Counties.
