Forsyth County drivers are being urged to be mindful of a temporary traffic shift that’s part of a major road-widening project.
Contractors have moved traffic onto a newly-constructed portion of Bethelview Road and onto the finished half of a bridge, allowing contractors to finish the other half of the bridge portion of the project.
Crews are widening and reconstructing a roughly five-mile portion of Bethelview between Castleberry Road and Ga. 20. The existing two-lane road is being expanded to four lanes with a raised median and sidewalks.
