A stretch of a road near Alpharetta’s city hall will be closed this week for repairs.

Crews shut down Park Plaza, from Academy Street to the roundabout in front of city hall, on Monday. The city says that crews are repairing damage to the roadway caused by a recent construction project.

Drivers will still be able to access city hall, the Alpharetta library and the nearby parking deck, but will have to do so from Haynes Bridge Road or Main Street.

Repairs to the road are expected to be completed by Wednesday.
