Work on a road in Sandy Springs will close two lanes through September, city officials said.

Storm line work has begun, and a stretch of two eastbound lanes on Johnson Ferry Road will be closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, until work is finished in September.

The stretch of the road that will be closed is between Roswell Road and Sandy Springs Circle.

City officials said a lane in each direction will be maintained for drivers.
