Traffic Alert: Lane closures at N. Fulton intersections this weekend

Drivers traveling on Spalding Drive in Sandy Springs could experience some delays this weekend.

The City of Atlanta watershed department will conduct emergency repair work Friday through Sunday night to repair a 24-inch main located near 885 Spalding Drive at Trowbridge Road.

There will be a lane closure at Dalrymple Road and Spalding Drive, and Sandy Springs police will help with traffic direction.

A water shut-off will also take place at 7 p.m. Friday, June 30 for an estimated 12 to 15 hours, city officials said. The shut-off includes the following intersections:

• Spalding Drive and Ga. 400
• Spalding Drive and Trowbridge Road
• Spalding Drive and Glenridge Drive

There is a possibility of the water shut-off extending into Sunday, but if a “boil water advisory” is necessary the City of Atlanta will alert residents.
