Beginning Monday, a road in Roswell will close for three weeks, the city said.

Pine Grove Road is expected to reopen Aug. 6 after the completion of a project that will replace culverts along the road.

The culvert replacement project is set up at 375 Pine Grove Road, so crews are closing a section of the road, from its intersections at North Coleman Road to Lake Charles Drive. Residents will have access to this section of the road, but no thru-traffic will be permitted.

Roswell has posted electronic message boards to alert drivers of the closure.

On its Facebook page, the city posted a map of suggested detours to get around the closure, advising drivers to use routes such as Hightower and Coleman roads.

For more information about the closure, the city suggests contacting Adam Lyon, Roswell’s storm-water construction specialist, at alyon@roswellgov.com
