A road paving project is underway in Johns Creek.

Crews will begin working on Abbotts Bridge Road on Tuesday.

The paving is expected to be completed by Oct. 20, barring any inclement weather.

The work will be done overnight, between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., to help accelerate the process and reduce traffic in the area, the city says.

The stretch of Abbotts Bridge Road that is being paved is between Parsons Road and Jones Bridge Road.
