Hundreds of mothers, medical professionals, faith leaders and concerned citizens from acorss the Southeast are set to gather for an EPA public hearing on proposed mercury and air toxics protections from 9 a.m. -- 8 p.m. Thursday at 61 Forsyth St.(Directly across from the Five Points MARTA train station) There will be a free testing for mercury at noon.

Currently, there are no national limits on the amount of air toxics that power plants can release into the atmosphere.
