A development of 22 townhomes was approved Sept. 13 by the Marietta City Council.

In the $300,000 range, the Roselane development will sit on 1.87 acres on Rose Lane Street, according to attorney Kevin Moore, speaking on behalf of the applicant Jeremy Rutenberg and Associates. This assemblage of seven properties will be near the WellStar medical campus, Moore added.

Most of the units will be owner-occupied, but five percent will be rentals with a mandatory homeowners’ association and no gates, Moore said.

No one voiced opposition during the public hearing.
