Torpy at Large: Ticketed by Atlanta cops? Get used to it

Despite what an internal email implied, Atlanta cops insist that their pay raises aren't tied to the volume of tickets they write. They say it's just coincidence and concern for all our safety that has prompted them to double the number of traffic citations since Mayor Kasim Reed took office.
