A tip recently lead to the arrest of two women who allegedly stole packages in Atlanta.

After officers received a call about mail theft Wednesday, residents provided them with video of the incident. The footage shows a woman get out of a tan SUV and grab a package from two townhome driveways, according to a police statement. The SUV appears to to be an Infiniti.

Crime Stoppers released pictures from the video, and a tip led investigators to the suspects. The incident took place in the 600 block of Bonaventure NE — in the Old Fourth Ward near Ponce City Market — according to Crime Stoppers.

Investigators learned both the women had active warrants from jurisdictions outside of Atlanta. Latrelle Ferrell, 24, had warrants from Fulton County and Perry, Georgia. Savanna Carter, 18, had a warrant from Lansing, Michigan. Police could not immediately say the reason for the active warrants.

Ferrell and Carter were charged with providing false information to officers and three counts of theft by taking.
