Producer and recording engineer Matt Forger will be the guest lecturer at Clayton State University on Thursday. He will discuss his years in the music business, including his work on Michael Jackson’s groundbreaking “Thriller” album. The 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. event is free and will be in the Student Activities Center at the south entrance of the campus. The campus is at 2000 Clayton State Blvd. In addition to Jackson, Forger worked with a “Who’s Who” list of celebrities in the music and film industry: Quincy Jones, Donna Summer, Steven Spielberg, Sir Paul McCartney and John Landis. The Clayton Media & Entertainment Association is hosting Thursday’s event, which ties into several CSU academic and Continuing Education programs, including the film industry.
