Three lanes of I-85 closed Tuesday

The Georgia Department of Transportation will close three lanes of Interstate 85 northbound at State Route 378/Beaver Ruin Road between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday for asphalt repair. No work is planned southbound and work will not impact the express lane.

Crews will close three outside lanes to remove damaged pavement and replace it with new asphalt. If emergency response is needed at a crash scene, or if emergency repairs are necessary, this schedule will change. Motorists are reminded to reduce speed in this and all work zones.
