Three public meetings will be held this month for Clayton County residents to voice their opinions about a list of proposed road and building projects to be financed with special purpose local option sales tax beginning in 2015. The first meeting will be Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., before the Board of Commissioners’ regular meeting in the county administration building, 112 Smith St., Jonesboro. Subsequent meetings will be held 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Frank Bailey Senior Center, 6213 Riverdale Rd. in Riverdale and Jan. 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the county administration building in Jonesboro.
