Three people, including a 15-year-old, have been arrested in the Acworth shooting death of a father of three.
Daniel Perez, 25, was in the passenger seat of a pick-up truck at Shops at Blue Springs near North Cobb High on March 23 when two men approached the truck and one shot him in the head, Acworth police have previously said.
On Sunday, police arrested 20-year-old Devin Thomas, of Kenensaw, and 18-year-old Maria Mungai on charges of felony murder. An unidentified 15-year-old from Kennesaw was the third arrested.

Police declined to provide any more details, citing the active investigation.
After the shooting, Perez was rushed to the WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he was declared brain dead.
"It's just sad because he was just taking his brother to a job interview literally that morning," his sister-in-law, Lucia Gonzalez, told Channel 2 Action News at the time. Perez recently purchased the truck to start his landscaping business.
He was taken off life support and died March 27, Acworth police confirmed.

Perez is a North Cobb graduate, but police have said the shooting wasn’t connected to the school.
His family told Channel 2 that the week before his shooting they were at Perez’s 1-year-old son’s baptism. He has two other children, the oldest a 4-year-old girl.
Why someone would shoot Perez is a mystery to his family.
“They’re cowards for doing this, especially the way they did it,” Lorena Gonzalez told Channel 2 at the time of his death. “Sneaking up on them and then just running away.”
