Students interested in theater will have extra resources at their fingertips with a new Aurora Theatre office at Central Gwinnett High School.

The professional theater, based in Lawrenceville, will have an office at the school for students interested in volunteering, interning or working for a theater.

The office will also be a meeting place for students, theater members and the community to collaborate on projects.

The office will open in early spring, and no firm hours have been set yet. It will begin as an “as needed” basis, according to district spokesman Bernard Watson.

Aurora Theatre is the second-largest professional theater in Georgia and holds classes as well as putting on stage productions.
