In the mood for a Ferris wheel, food trucks, live music and a little pumpkin painting?

The city of Sugar Hill's popular Sugar Rush Fall Festival offers all that — and it returns this weekend.

Saturday's event kicks off with a 5K at 8:30 a.m., with the festival to follow at 11 a.m. In addition to the aforementioned Ferris wheel, pumpkin painting, obstacle courses and inflatables, festivities will also include a "Dog Zone" orchestrated by the Georgia Society for the Protection of Animals.

Live musical offerings will include performances by The Joe & Joe Show (whose members include Sugar Hill city councilman Curtis Northrup), Ellie Lawrence (a native Georgian who competed on NBC's "The Voice") and 7 Bridges (an Eagles tribute band).

Attendance is free — and concertgoers can bring their own coolers (though glass is prohibited).

About 12,000 people are expected to attend.
