One Gwinnett-related town is as safe as it is small.
Braselton was recently named the seventh-safest city in Georgia according to a study by ValuePenguin. The study's authors used crime data reported to the FBI in 2014 to rate cities around the state. They compared them by crime incidences and town size.
Braselton made the top ten list of safest cities in the state and placed highest of towns connected to Gwinnett County.
When the list is separated by size, it ranks Braselton as the third-safest small town (5,000–10,000 people).

The study rated cities by how much property and violent crime they have, with violent crime contributing more to an “unsafe” score.
The other Gwinnett town that scored well was Duluth, which placed 17th. One reason for its high ranking may be its proximity to Johns Creek in North Fulton, which the study calls the safest city in Georgia. Read the rest of the list.
