If you’re someone who likes to buy fresh fruits, vegetables and other items, now is the time to stock up.

Fall is approaching, which means some farmer’s markets will begin to close up shop for the year.

For folks in Johns Creek, the farmer’s market in Newtown Park will have its final market of the season on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

The market features about 20 vendors who offer a variety of items, from fresh produce to popsicles.

Live music will be featured at the final market, and there will also be activities for children.

For the 2018 season, Johns Creek is already looking for new farmer’s market vendors. To apply, contact Kirk Franz, Johns Creek’s recreation manager, at 678-512-3200 or kirk.franz@johnscreekga.gov.
