If you’ve ever wanted to have the Fulton County district attorney’s ear, Saturday is your chance.

DA Paul Howard is inviting county residents to meet and discuss crime and safety issues. Residents have expressed wanting to talk about gas station car thefts, known as "slider" crimes, along with home burglaries, car break-ins, "dangerous crack or trap houses," child sex trafficking, youth street gangs, juvenile repeat offenders and record restrictions, an event flyer says.

“This is an opportunity to speak directly to DA Howard and his staff,” the release said. “So bring your new ideas, solutions, suggestions, whether old school or cutting edge. If you are a victim in a case, Assistant DA's will be available as well."

The "Talk to the DA" event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 136 Pryor St. SW; enter the courthouse from the Central Street entrance only.
