The annual Taste of Chamblee festival returns Saturday, with some of the city’s “finest cuisine” on offer.

“We’re excited to have a great group of restaurants participating that show off the wonderfully diverse cuisine that Chamblee has come to be known for,” Chris Madden, event coordinator, said in a news release.

Admission to the event is free, and tickets for tastings will be sold for $1. Tickets can be redeemed at participating booths for offerings ranging from 1 to 5 tickets per sample.

The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Hosted on Peachtree Road near City Hall, the festival will have something for guests of all ages, including live music and kids activities.

The festival includes more than 15 local restaurants, as well as a variety of vendors selling hand-made goods. Live music will begin on the Discover DeKalb stage at 5 p.m. The lineup includes The Georgia Shine Band, The AJ Ghent Band and Have Gun, Will Travel.
