Whether you’re looking for activities for the whole family, need a date night idea or are looking for a fun way to exercise, there is plenty to do in North Fulton this weekend.

Date Night on the River (Roswell): Impress your partner with this romantic and unique date idea for adults only. Canoe guides will lead you on a two-and-a-half hour sunset trip on the Chattahoochee River. You must be at least 21 years old to register. To check availability, visit the online registration center, email the scheduling department or call 770-992-2055 extension 237.
The trip is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 8, and takes place at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. The cost $30 per person for the general public and $25 for CNC members. Grounds will open early so attendees could take a picnic dinner.
Movies at Newton Park (Johns Creek): Enjoy the family-friendly movie "The Good Dinosaur" presented on a huge inflatable screen as part of this summer outdoor series. Pre-show activities include an inflatable moonwalk, face painting, children's activities, giveaways, music, food and drinks.
The event takes place on Saturday, July 9 at Newton Park. Pre-show activities begin at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at dusk.
Hospitality Highway Century Ride (Roswell): How often do you get to ride your bike down the middle of the highway? During this ride that begins at 7 a.m. Sunday, July 10, all lanes will be closed on Ga. 400, so you can ride your bike for 9, 27, 45, 60 or 100 miles. There is a rest stop every 15 miles.
Registration for adults ages 18 and older is $60 and $30 for youths ages 12 to 18. Registration includes a t-shirt, food, water, live music and mechanical support along the route.
This event will take place on July 10 at 7 a.m. The start/finish point is located at the Sky Zone parking lot in the Kings Market Shopping Center, 1425 Market Blvd.
Concerts by the Springs (Sandy Springs): Get transported to the 80's with Electric Avenue, an 80's pop tribute that delivers renditions of bands like Tears for Fears, Simple Minds, Duran Duran, Wham!, Kenny Loggins, INXS, The Clash, and more.
The concert is from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 10. Gates open at 5 p.m. Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early and take a picnic. The concert will be located at Heritage Green on The Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn, 6110 Blue Stone Road.
