Five things to know Thursday, April 28:

1. The Braves lost last night in Boston, 9-4. With this defeat, they have set a franchise record for April losses going back to at least 1913. [The game breakdown is here | The Braves did finally get a homerun, though]

2. Four UGA students died after a car accident in Oconee County late Wednesday night. [What police are saying]
