Thieves made off with $10,000 in skateboards, video cameras, sunglasses and clothing after breaking into a store near Kennesaw.

The burglary happened around 2 a.m. Monday at the Ambush Boarding Company on Cobb Place Lane.

Cobb County police Sgt. Dana Pierce said the three males were in the store for about 45 minutes before leaving in possibly a Volkswagen or Audi. Images of the three burglars were captured on the store's security camera.

The thieves apparently entered the store through the roof.

"The punks tried to come in the back door, couldn't make it in,” Lee Elliot, the store's general manager, told Channel 2 Action News. “So they went around the roof and crashed through the air-conditioning unit, came in and had their way with the place for about an hour."

Pierce asked that anyone with information call investigators at 770-590-5772.
