Baby names fall in and out of favor, gaining and losing popularity with historical and cultural events.

And while "William" has remained an enduring favorite in Georgia over the years, other names have risen to popularity in the newest decade, according to data from the Social Security Administration.

From 2010-2014, boys' names such as Jacob, Noah and Mason rounded out the top spots, alongside William, according to the SSA; while girls' names such as Ava, Isabella and Madison rounded out the top spots alongside Olivia and Emma (the No. 1s).
