I got a message from a 92-year-old baseball fan, a guy who has absolutely loved the sport since the 1934 World Series. But the Braves, with their off-field scheming and on-field atrociousness, have turned away this fellow from the game he has loved since when he hit balls that were taped together.

Doug Wexler's experience is not uncommon. Braves' attendance is plummeting and, increasingly, fans won't attend games even when they are offered free tickets.

I called a guy on ticket exchange site, where he was trying to unload tickets at half price. He said they aren't worth it and that his family often donates the tickets to hospitals. It got me thinking — aren't the patients suffering enough?
