The Vent
Hey, Sports South. It is torturous enough to watch the Braves live these days, so why would anyone want to watch reruns of their games?
Josh Anderson is looking better and better as the Braves' leadoff man. Only trouble is we gave him away.
I am having a few close friends over the first Friday night in June to watch Game 67 of the NBA playoffs.
I was watching the Hawks-Heat game and then would switch during commercials to the Braves game. It was like going from rock 'n' roll to elevator music.
The poor Braves just can't get a break. Now, Jeff Francoeur is seeing the ball better, and Brian McCann can't see anything.
It's not that the Braves can't get hits, they just can't get timely hits.
Matt Ryan was featured in a SportsCenter ad. I hope they don't have a jinx like Sports Illustrated.
When an oft-injured player like Garret Anderson, whose has only hit 25 times in 24 games, refuses a rehab assignment, it's time to send him packing.
On top of spending $129 for a Hawks playoff ticket, I was also hit with a $25 service fee and a $15 delivery fee by the ticket outlet, StubHub. You mean to tell me that delivering the tickets is not part of the service they provide? If this isn't a rip-off, I can't imagine what is.
I do not know what the strikeout record is for a season, but it looks like Jordan Schafer is trying awfully hard to break it.
