1. 2-year-old killed in shooting in Jackson
In what police say appears to have been an accidental shooting, 2-year-old Jayden Jamar Clay was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Jackson Police Chief James Morgan. Morgan said the boy was shot in the upper lip by what appeared to be a .45 caliber handgun, which was found on the floor nearby. Read more.

5. Woman Victor Hill is charged with shooting wants job with his office
Channel 2 Action News reported Wednesday that the woman Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill is charged with shooting in a Lawrenceville model home in May applied for a job with his office. Hill will go before a Gwinnett County grand jury Thursday for the shooting of Gwenevere McCord. Read more.
