The Lumineers cuddled dogs at a Gwinnett shelter before their concert

Before playing a show at the Infinite Energy Arena on March 8, the Lumineers stopped to cuddle some lucky Gwinnett dogs.
The Denver-based folk rock band, along with their crew and technical staff, went to the Georgia SCPA in Suwanee last week to play with some of the shelter’s adoptable canines, according to a Facebook post.
The band, best known for their songs “Ho Hey” and “Ophelia,” are dog lovers, often tweeting out pictures of themselves with their four-legged friends.
This isn’t the first time they’ve stopped at a shelter before a gig, either. In January, they played with some pups from Wayside Waifs shelter in Kansas City, Missouri.
Thanks @WaysideWaifs for bringing by some VIP guests. These puppies are available for adoption starting today! https://t.co/sMH4ix3IAE pic.twitter.com/0X5uQxEaCv

The dogs the band played with — Polo, Gena and Star — are available for adoption now. Find them and other adoptable animals at Georgia SCPA's website.
