A student senator-elect at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga has been asked to resign over chalk drawings she made in support of presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Hailey Puckett has been asked to step down by a group calling itself Empower UTC, The Chattanooga Times-Free Press reported.

The group released a statement on Twitter saying that it made the request because “we realize that her values do not line up with the pillars we’ve established ourselves on.”

The flap is similar to a situation that occurred last month at Emory University. Someone scrawled a number of chalk messages supporting Trump on the DeKalb County campus.

Puckett’s Twitter account was no longer available Wednesday afternoon, according to the Chattanooga paper, but a screenshot posted by others showed her taking credit for the artwork.

A university spokesman said the school is staying out of the debate.
