Thought it was cold this morning? Then get ready for some big changes coming in the next few days.

Many metro Atlanta residents woke up to frost on their cars Saturday morning, but a warm-up is headed our way.

The day began with temperatures in the upper 20s in some areas, but there are no signs of more frost in the forecast – at least for the rest of this week.

Severe Weather Team 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz says Sunday will start off in the 40s, but eventually climb to the upper 60s in the afternoon.

The warming trend will continue into the week with temperatures in the mid-70s by the end of the week, with a chance for rain.
