Teen killed by rolling car in driveway

A 17-year-old was killed Sunday morning when his car rolled down a driveway and hit him shortly after he had parked it, Cobb County police said.

About 4:30 a.m., Lawrence J. Panatera parked his silver 2005 Mazda 3 in a driveway on Woodruff Plantation Parkway in Marietta, police said. As he walked down the hill toward the house, "the car rolled down the hill and struck Mr. Panatera before it continued on and struck the house," police said.
