Nov 7, 2016The body of a 17-year-old who didn’t know his way around the area and accidentally drove down a boat ramp near Savannah was found Monday morning, officials said.
Andrew Barnes was found in the Skidaway River between the Skidaway Narrows boat ramp and Butter Bean Beach, Georgia Department of Natural Resources Sgt. Cindy Miller told the Savannah Morning News.
Barnes was reported missing early Sunday morning after his car sank.
The teen was unfamiliar with the area, which caused him to drive into the water, police said.
