More than 150 Georgia educators are expected to interview for overseas jobs this weekend at the Marriott Downtown.

The interviews are being conducted by Teach Away, a placement organization that expects to hire about 800 teachers to teach in Abu Dhabi this fall.

Teach Away says it has received 1,500 applications from Georgia educators in the past year, a 400 percent increase over the previous year. The educators who will be interviewed this weekend have already been selected, but others interested in the program can learn more at www.teachaway.com.
