Sugarloaf Mills wants to help teachers get ready for the new school year.

The Gwinnett County shopping center is giving 100 teachers $50 gift cards at a Saturday back-to-school event. The first 100 teachers who show a valid school ID will get the gift card, good at any store in Sugarloaf Mills. The next 50 will get free “swag bags,” and every educator who attends will be able to enter a drawing for a $250 shopping spree.

The event, beginning at 10 a.m., will also feature “mini-makeovers, fashion stylists and a fashion show presented by American Eagle Outfitters.” While the festivities are limited to Saturday, eduators can continue to get “swag bags” at the guest services center from July 28 to Aug. 3 by showing a school ID.

The shopping center’s back-to-school event will be inside Sugarloaf Mills near American Eagle from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 27.
