A task force appointed to examine social support services programs in Atlanta Public Schools will meet at 2 p.m. Friday at the district's headquarters, 130 Trintiy Ave., Atlanta. In July, the school board created the task force following concerns over proposed budget cuts to social service programs. School board Chairman Reuben McDaniel said once recommendations are made about what kinds of social services are needed, APS officials will determine who will provide those services.
